Almost looks Rhino-lined. That's cool, I went satin black on Screamnins frame, I wish I had done it like yours.

How did you get at the inside of the frame? I cannot get at it with my wirebrush on the angle grinder where it is skinny at the back and front =/

That looks nice. How long will the primer and satin black hold up? I ask this, because I'm interested in going the same route, BUT I live a stones throw from the water...the deadly corrosive salt water.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh that's lookin perty! I can hardly wait to see that badass flatbed back in 1 piece now.
I ground my frame down and used rustoleum black on it 3 years ago and it's still nice and black. Rattle can holds up better than I thought it would

Russell.I just used my electric drill with a wire brush head and a hand wire brush in some of the harder to get areas..Not going to be a show truck,so I did the best I could.
East End K 5...I just sprayed it first with the rubberized black under coat product and then rustoleom flat balck..Not sure how long it will last but it looks alot better......... Thanks for the complements....Picking up the wood tomorrow for the bed.............

Excellent info, I captured the details into a MS word.doc file I am compiling for use when I restore my 68 C 10 stepside shotbox. This is exactly the stuff I am trying to find. I know very little about cars/truck but I was able to teach myself computer and software tech support so I figure I can do this as long as I have the right info and I go SLOW. This forum is perfect.
