What kinda radiators are u all using? Mine wasnt in great shape when I got my truck, so Im thinking about putting a diff one in.
What kind are u using, how well does it work, what modifications were necessary to fit it in?
Thanks

I got a nice 4 core with a heater outlet for $133 from Radiator.com. Got it thru ebay. It replaced my 3 core with very few problems. Its a good heavy Modine radiator. I did have to trim the fan shroud just a little for a better fit and switch my mounts for 4 core mounts.

i'm using a 30" be cool universal aluminum.
single 1.25" core.
works great!
110-115 degrees F in summer temp climbs to about 190 when the fan comes on drops down to 170 real quick.
only had to fabricate upper rad mounts.
for the money, best to spend the extra dough & get the one made for the truck.

All the vendors up there that support us have the mounts. I'm using a four core with a electric fan. No problems.

I have a aluminum one that is actually factory equipment for a 1988 Iroc Camaro with the 350 TPI. It bolted right in and was right at 100 bucks from Napa. Works excellent with my dual electric fans and the temp always runs right where it should. It definetly Works!

I am running a Be Cool Aluminum Radiator also. It works great, actually too good in the winter. I had to block off all but a 2"x2" square to get heat.

I ALWAYS USE FACTORY STYLE (MODINE REPLACEMENT) 4 CORE "DESERT COOLER" RADIATORS. I'VE HAD THEM IN 500 HP. BIG BLOCK TRUCKS WITH NO HEATING OR COOLING PROBLEMS AT ALL. JOHN

I have a Modine 4 core in my 'burb, cools great. The others have stock 33+ year old radiators, and don't cool so good.

I suggest getting a modine. Fit well, works great. I bought a radiator from Checker (shuck's/kragen), and that thing was a pile, it was twisted, and it didn't cool very well.
