Do Shortys give good bottom-end torque for 4wd application?I want to install headers on my 4spd manual K/20.It`s my "Bottom-End" grunt machine(400SBC).

Not at all compared to long tube or 3/4 length headers. I went from 3/4 length Hedmans to Chevelle shorty headers and lost a noticeable amount of torque. They might be better than stock however but I can't say the truck came with the Hedmans.
