Good price for OEM rear 1/4 panels?

Not sure if this is a good deal so would appreciate some suggestions from the board.

Someone local to me is selling "left and right OEM partial rear quarter panels" for $600.-. They are supposed to be in mint condition.

I checked out Goodmark and Harmons without finding an equivalent piece either OEM or aftermarket. My '77 has _alot_ of rust in the rear quarter so I this sounds interesting.

My question is whether this is a good deal or if someone is trying to fleece me.

Suggestions/comments appreciated!

GM only makes complete panels as assembled at plant.Check cheyennetruckparts.com for a price on non-OEM.It sounds good for OEM.They could have been cut-down.

Going to http://cheyennetruckparts.com redirects me to a search engine (http://newnet.qsrch.com/dpark?s=chey...s.com&prt=nn01). I tried to google for them without success either. Can you give me a different URL?

TIA, Alex

I don't know anyone that supplies those. I had to stop since almost everyone I sold was sent back because it wasn't perfect.

Welll I ended up buying the pieces as they were local to me here in NH. Got both the left and right sides for my project truck. They aren't perfect nor do they have inner fenders on them but they are _alot_ better then those panels on my Jimmy right now.

Putting them on looks like it will be quite a bit of work - though the result will be worthwhile once on.

Anyone have a writeup on how to put them on?

Next project - replacing the fuel tank and fuel lines.
