Marker Light Question
I've got a 69 C-10 P/U (or so the data plate says)
and I have been gradually fixing various stuff since I bought it about 6 weeks ago. I'm trying to get the marker lights on the left and right front fenders working. I've searched for a pigtail off the light wiring harness but I don't see one for the marker light. I know this truck has some 71-72 sheetmetal on it but I'm not sure which pieces are original and which aren't. This is a sideview of the truck http://mywebpages.comcast.net/wxgeek/trk_side.JPG The marker light in question is the one on the front fender. I believe the marker light on the rear is just a reflector. Soooo...Were the front markers on a 69 just a reflector and maybe somebody put a lighted marker in its place? Possibly somebody put the wrong wiring harness on the truck? Any help is appreciated! Jim M. |
