Van Tilt question

I just got a 78 Chevy Van Auto Tilt Column for $40.00 and was wondering if there is any info on this and will this work in my 70 GMC ? What is the differance between a van & truck column. What other parts will I need to do this swap? I'm hoping this will work without too much problem. I have a 3spd stick column in it now. Just trying to round up all the parts I'll need for the auto swap.

Steve
