Reverse light Housing Help needed.

I was just checking to make sure I have continuidity. The green wire is good but I can get a ground in the socket to the housing. Is that the way it should be ?

Thanks.

With the shifter in the "R" position, you should be able to measure 12 volts between the green wire and the housing. I had one bacum light that wouldn't work until I tightened the housing screws a little to give it a good ground.
