Old Flywheel To Newer Block
I am trading for a 68 3/4 ton flatbed that I used to own years ago. The 283 in it is shot and the only engine I have available without spending big money is an 86 model 305. Is the flywheel going to bolt up ok with no starter alignment trouble? Running granny 4 speed. As always, thanks in advance.

I just finished the same swap but you will need to change the flywheel to a newer style 88-92 full size 1/2 ton. the mount holes on the 305 are smaller than your current block. toolpimp>>>>>>>>
