Pigeon Forge Casualties...

Well, I guess anything can happen when you travel, but why does it seem to happen MORE when you are on a schedule???

This morning....EARLY..Gman69 struck out for Pigeon Forge (ALONE). After traveling less than an hour from his house, he had to call the towtruck to haul him back to town to the parts house.

What he suspects happened was one or more of the bolts in his water pump pulley backed out...then the rest were sheared off from the wobbling pulley....DESTROYING his brand new Stewart Warner water pump. So now he is at the parts house installing a new pump in their parking lot....wiping the chips off his shoulder, and jumping back on the road, and if nothing else was damaged, being only a few hours behind schedule.

Hopefully, the other 7 or 8 hours of the trip will be less eventful for him.
(aren't old trucks fun?)

That Sucks I hate that happened to him but at least you can get parts anywhere! I plan to leave around lunch! Can't wait to get there! Last year it rained the hole time and it was still cool!

Well, just over 3 hours later, GMan69 called me to let me know he is back on the road.

Anyone else have a casualty report??? Hope everyone makes it there in one piece.
