Wheel adapters

Has anyone ever run a set of wheel adapters on their truck? I have an 84 SWB with a BBC 402 that is built really well and a set of ralley wheels off of my 71 camaro that I want to run on it. Of course the bolt pattern is different so I want to run adapters. Just wondering if someone had any luck with them or mabey had a pair to sell.

keep in mind that a spacer will stick the wheels out alot farther. you'd be better off buying a set from Stockton Wheel or Wheel Vintiques, they'll look much better.

I have a set on now. I bought them through TrandDapt, I was just wondering if anyone had had any problems with adapters in the past.

I use them on the rear of my 74 & haven't had any problems.

Like 1FaastC10 said, they increase the track width slightly which was one reason I used them. My wheels had a 6" back spacing & 5x4.75 bolt patter & I needed 5" back spacing w/a 5x5 bolt pattern.

Don't just use spacers though. Use true billet adapters.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
