What is this? Never saw one before....
Ok, I need some education fella's... What is this? It's says its an "upper radiator hose pipe" but I've never heard of one. Is this an option or was it only available on certain models or ???? Are they hard to comeby as I have never seen one before.
Thanks... Joe

Both of my K20 and my K5 use that pipe as a portion of the upper radiatior system.

the engine is set back further, and the rubber hoses in the 60's pretty much sucked.

Take a look at the fan shroud in the pic.It is a lot bigger than a 2wd,to compensate for the set back engine.

i had one of these. the weight of it vibrating tore the upper outlet off twice. i replaced it with rubber hose, all but a 4" section (the hose was too short), then replaced the rad with a '95 unit. almost a bolt it.

Late to the party again, but it's on my stock '72 K20. Makes it a lot cheaper to replace the upper hose - you only need two short pieces...

I saw one on a '71 GMC in a junk yard the other day, first time I had ever seen one, I thought maybe it was a GMC thing.

Doesn`t weigh any more than hose.More rigid.4-wheelin`is slow and and flexy.Heat build-up/soft hose.Think I`ll chrome one.
