I'm looking at buying a Blazer for the first time, always had trucks but want something new to play with. There is a blazer I'm interested in that has a power drivers seat. he says it may be stock from the factory. The passenger side seat folds up to the glove box door like normal and it is the same style as the drivers seat. Both seats are low back style. My ? is, did GM put power drivers side seats in a 72' Blazer.

I hvae never heard of it, but GM did some weird things.
I would bet that a PO rigged it up though. Did you take any pictures?

I haven't seen the Blazer in person, just some pics and talked to the owner. The pics he sent shows the seats with covers on. I asked if he could take some pics without covers. I will post them when I get them. He says he's had it for 15 years and they have always been that way. Everything else on it is stock (no lift, no cut up dash, stock steering wheel, rear seat, etc.) I would think that if someone was going to change the seats, they would chance much easier stuff first.

I don't remember seeing an RPO for a power seat. Given how similar all these seats seem to mount, though, I'll bet it's rigged up from either a contemporary car seat or a newer truck.
