"DARE TO BE DIFFERENT"

who cares what other people think, it's Don's truck that was built the way Don wanted it, personally i see the combination of the old & new & think it goes very well together. i'd loose the tailgate for a non script one, but other then that Don i'll give ya a . i'm glad ya keep posting the pics cause ya know what i've said in the past about u doing this truck .........lol...joe

keep up the good work & build what u invisioned in ur mind.....

Hey TooMany...thnks for the reply. I knew when I started this project not all would like it. I have been influenced by the most famous custom cars - Spence's Chevy trk.

Altho my trk does not look like Spence's, you can see the inflence of the tail fins.

Don,
what color are you going to use? That would look sweet with a 50's type custom paint job on it. I like the use of the bed. Looks great.

I have to admit, when I first saw the pics a few months back, I didn't care for the style...BUT I did respect your vision and orignality. Seeing it painted, pretty cool. It's hard for people to visualize the concepts in other people heads until it starts coming together like yours is now.
I think it's going to be pretty cool.

Man! That was a cool link Don!
