Front Rotors to fit '71 truck?
Where can I get the best quality front
rotors to fit my truck. I measured the thickness of the old rotor and it seems to be approx to 1.250", is this correct? I am also going to replace the calipers due to excessive leakage. There seem to be so many selling different brands, with greatly differing prices, can anyone tell me anything good or bad? THanks. ------------------ 71 Chevy C-10 SWB Fleetside WAS:307w/3-on-the-tree NOW:350TBI/700R4/3.73 See it at www.prismnet.com/~grzanich

Stock rotors are 1.250 like you measured. If they were mine I would just have the rotors trued up unless there are defects that are deeper than .015" The rotors can be turned
to 1.235" and if you have a good shop "true them up" they should work fine.(Truing them up is taking the bare minimum off to clean them up). Jim
