My ultra-rare 72 convertible console.
Only one of these were ever made that I know of. Made by me, he he!
First pick shows cupholder style. Second taken less than a minute later the seatbelt style. Goes from cup holder to seatbelt without opening lid. Third pic shows cupholder attachment (actually hidden beer can holder)that could be velcroed to the floor.

I like that idea very much! holds your open beer and a spare, and has a slot for a pack of smokes.
