Curb weight on 68 stepsides close enough?
From my 68 restoration packet: shortbed 6cyl 3417lbs; shortbed 8 cyl 3562lbs; longbed 6cyl 3507lbs; longbed 8 cyl 3650lbs

Sounds about right. Mine tipped the scales at 3560 and I had a toll box in the floor that weighed about 40 or 50 lbs. That was without me in it of course.
