Help me find a behind-the-rollpan (hidden) hitch please

I can't seem to find a hitch receiver that doesn't hang low below the frame. I want as much ground clearance as possible, so I would like to find one that is hidden behind the license plate of the rollpan.

Does anyone make these for our trucks?

What you might have to end up doing is getting one that is close to the correct width from a junk yard (pretty cheap) and modify it to fit as needed by cutting (or grinding) the existing welds off and relocating the mounting brackets on the actual receiver. If you are not equipped with a welder, you can mock it up and have a local shop weld the brackets in place. Just a thought.

There is a quick harness at the rear of the truck just before it gets to the end of the frame rail. You disconnect that and put the grey plug in line with them...creating a trailer light pig-tail.

I wonder if that will work with my stepside, with the blazer tank and roll pan??

i think it go's between the rear harness and the connecter in the crossmember at the rear of the bed.

Cool Deal guys. From the ease of the hook up, looks like a decent deal to me.........Jerry
