nice,i like the color combo,my uncle had new for 72 in that color combo,3/4 ton two wheel drive,it was fancy and sharp, memories as a kid growing up.my dad had a plain jane red 3/4 heavy with leaf springs ,truck would pull or haul anything you could dish out,we used to make fun of the newer trucks when we were hauling firewood-hahaha

Was there a frame swap too? I assume so, or that is some mean painting to make it look like 3/4 ton running gear along with locking hubs on the front. That's looking like you are well on your way to a nice one. That looked like some serious motor peeking through the hood of the 57 in the back of that one pic.

the 57 chevy in the background, the guy has $34000 in the motor alone. built by some big name engine builder. $90000 in the car before the paint job. some people just have way too much money!

looks like it is gonna haul ass!!! One question, Is the truck not siiting straight? I'm asking because the body line from the cab to the box does not look to be lined up on the passenger side. I assume it is just how it's parked or something. What is the name of the green color??

yep the cab has a 2" lift on it. we had to do that to clear the big block. the frame is from a camper special with heavier springs so the box sits up high. do not want to raise the box any higher. The truck is at a custom suspension shop getting a new cross member and motor mounts made. thought that would be the easiest route to take. when we get all the trim on it we will shim the box to make all lines straight. the color is the 72 stock color, i think they call it evergreen. i will call the bodyshop and get the new # for it.

Looks good man! I just picked up a 72' C10 Cheyenne Super in that color combo. I was wondering what one would look like redone, now I know. Here's a pic of mine. Oh, the color is listed as "Dark Olive"
