Steering Collum Connector

Ok so I got a painless kit and I am trying to remove the wires out of the old connector but I cant seem to figure out how Does anyone know how to do this or have pictures of how to?

You can remove them by gently sliding a very small thin screw driver down the front of each post and wiggle the wire out of the plug. Don't force it out, as long as you get the screw driver on the correct side of the post they will slide right out. They will press back into the new plug very easy.

Yeah, I just cannot seem to get the old ones out I dono I guess Ill just keep trying different ways...

So far they really are painless and the people there are very helpful if you have any questions. I just cant seem to get this one connector everything else has been well painless

I've installed four of these kits so far and helped a few people do theirs as well. I really like them, no problems ever!! That steering column plug can be a little tricky though.

Wht's the part number of the kit? Are they the same for trucks and suburbans? Does it bolt in where the factory is mounted? Pics? What was the install time? Price?

Install time depends on how experienced you are and how hard you work at it, Its taken me like 2 weekends to do. They should work for the burb too. There is a little bit of cutting for the fuse pannel you have to make the hole bigger and drill anohter hole for the bolt to mount it to. (I ****ed mine up and am just going to cut a perfect hold on a sheet of metal and mount that to the firewall instead) I got mine from jegs for $330 shipped 2nd day delivery.
