Turning signal issues
I have a slight problem..more of an inconvienance really. My turning signals are SUPER sensitive..if they are not in exactly the right spot they will blink. Also when I turn them off to take a turn after completing the turn I have to manually turn them off. There is no canceling switch. What kind of parts would I need to fix this problem and what kind of money can I expect to shell out for the parts?
By the way I've been having a blast driving my truck around!...I love this thing I'm hooked. Thanks alot for any comments, ideas or suggestions. Kevin

Sounds like the return springs are broken. Pull your steering wheel off and look for two springs about the the diameter of a pencil. They should have one end that is angled 90 deg from the circle, if not then it is broken. Some one should have a picture here of what they look like. Chev sells them and I think they are pretty cheap.

You can buy a pair of cancelling springs in the Help! section of just about any auto parts store.

The differance is between the canceling spring and a Turn signal cancel cam. is that the spring is just the sping and the cam is the whole white thing that you see in you pics.
