I pulled off the 88+ style GM truck bumper and put a sport bumper on it. I think it looks SO much better!! That old bumper was UGLY.

Nice change. I wouldn't say it was ugly before, but defintely nicer now.

And I gotta say, that is a bad ass jimmy there...I don't think I've ver seen a 2 weel drive GMC version before.

Here are a couple more pictures Andy. You aren't going to like this, but it's getting a 68 Chevy grill and hood next week. They should be out of the paint booth next Tuesday. The PO rearended someone that had a trailer hitch and really fubarred the grill, and the hood has a bad dent too. I had the 68 grille, core support, and hood here so that's what it's getting. I pulled the grille back out with the help of a come-along and a tree, but you can totally tell when you get close that it's pretty messed up.

Are you referring to the top's hatch? That is what all 1st gen Blazer/Jimmy's had.
The back is dropped 4" with blocks, and then it has heated springs. The front has 2.5" drop spingles and cut springs. All of that was PO done, and it rides like crap. It's getting bags soon, I have everything here, I just need to clean out the garage so I can actually park in it

I have to agree with him...the color is perfect, and, while the rallys look good, I'd bet a punch in the gut some polished torque thrusts would look 10 times better.

I do honestly think the GMC frill...in chrome...would make this thing look perfect, but hey, I totally understand the parts on hand deal. You could always swap the the 'better looking' grill at a later date.

(the 68 chevy grills are pretty good lookin too)

I haven't decided on wheels. I have three different wheels that I would love to put on. Car ralleys, smoothies, or, if I wanted to go bigger, it would be what Andy is saying

Man I absolutely love that Jimmy. And its a two wheeler to boot. I think the torque thrusts would be perfect. And the shiney grill.....that would be the nail in the coffin.
