I decided to put my tank, valves and compressor inside the bed. I don't have a bed cover. So I'm worried the rain will screw them up. I know people put them under the truck and they do get wet but is it bad for them?

every thing but the compressor will be fine and most compressor's will be fine if the air in take is in a dry location

All my stuff is out side valves, tank, compressor was when I had it. Drove it in the rain in the winter. Valves will freeze shut though but then just get some hot water poor on em and your good.

I would make sure that you seal up the wiring. where it enters the solenoid. There is a rubber washer in there, but it doesn't seal well. I am putting a dab of silicone there as well as dielectric grease on the terminals to prevent corrosion.

Just a thought.

Do ya'll ground the vavles to themselfs or to somewhere on the truck?

I have mine grounded to the bracket on the valves.
