Junkyard Score!!!

Went to my local junkyard today and he must have at least 30 '67-'72's there from c/10's to c/30's and several k/20's and only one '72 CST Blazer. I picked up a factory tach dash for my '74, some wiring for my '74, a factory chrome 4 speed shift handle for my '72, some other small stuff all for $30. I will be going back sooner or later for all of the tach dashes he's got and will take more pictures. I just didn't have time this trip. Lots of parts for our trucks there.

Can you get some new eyebrows for a '68? I need some for my truck, the left one is damaged.

I'm not sure when I'll be up there next. I'm trying to get my '74 all rebuilt before I go back to school in August so most of my time will be spent on that. I'm sure there is one up in the junkyard but I just don't know when or if I'll be able to get it.

Cool score!!
Where are you at in Wisconsin?
Maybe someone near you could check it out for us. That is if we knew where you live and someone who lives nearby sees this thread.

I am over on the west central side of the state, about 30 miles north of LaCrosse. It's all little towns around here, but if anyone is interested in coming over this way let me know.

I will be close to that area this weekend. Would you care to PM me and let me know where the yard is? I need a couple parts for my Jimmy. I would love to get a look at the Blazer that's in that yard.

72Gord- Pm sent

71swb4x4- The blazer is really rotten from the rear wheel wells back and is missing basically the whole interior except the dash. I sent you a PM as well.

If anyone goes out there can you check on the cross member in the blazer for the console it is under the truck I think they cut it from on top with a victor wrench.

Thanks Tommy
