Howdy:
Is this one of those items that was identical on many GM makes and models? The air cleaner on my 67 with v-8 ( transplanted 350 in place of the original 327) has a stock air cleaner with Buick decals on it that were painted over by the previous owner. Fits right, when used with the aluminum "smokestack" that raises it above the HEI and power brake (metal) vacuum line. Uses the same filter element listed for the 327 in my truck. I'm not in love with the aircleaner, and have several aftermarket units lying around from past projects, just haven't cleaned one up for this truck of mine. If you don't care about having to do some paint stripping to get the old decals off, well, shoot me a PM. cowboy33713 Last edited by cowboy33713; 07-25-2005 at 04:25 AM. |
