Board email problems - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have fixed the problems alot of you where experiencing with not recieving emails or notifications form the board. If you had previously emailed me and I have nto replied, please use the form @ http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/m...?action=lostpw to retrieve your password and or username.

The private message window keeps popping up but there are no messages there.

Now when someone replys to a thread that I have replyed to it sends a email to my reg. email address,I've check and edited my profile to stop the notifacation sorry for the spelling,but I'm still getting these emails,is there something wrong?

You'll have to unsubscribe to the threads, on the main page of the User CP, click view all subscribed threads, then go through and unsubscribe to the ones you do not wish to recieve notification on.

Hey I'm having the same problem as Jwill41. The "You have a new private message..." dialog keeps poping up every few seconds, and it's anoying as hell. I don't have any unread private messages!

I believe it's happening every time I'm submitting a request to the server. In fact it happened when I went to reply to this post, and it happened again once I tried to submit the reply.

It will happen again when I submit to save changes to this post. It doesn't seem to be happening when I navigate URLs, but it does whenever I interact with forms or submit requests.

I don't know whats causing it, I reverted all changes I made...

For a temp fix it wil go away if you set "Pop up a box when you receive a Private Message?" to no, it's located in the User CP under options.

I think I fixed the PM pop up problem, if any of you ahve anymore problems with it please let me know.
