I have that mag also. The article on the drag truck is awsome! Nine seconds in a 71 truck. The crew cab dually is bad too.

Still got mine!
My favorite is the black '72 swb with the big block and every stinking option imaginable with the mild drop. The '68 one ton crew cab is also nice.

Yep I got one, not on me though. I let a friend borrow the mag and he "lost it" then finds it 6 months later in the back of one of his seat pockets!

When was that published?
Maybe a couple, three years ago? If that's the case, I remember going looking for it and couldn't find one; even asked to have it special ordered and never got a call back that it was in

I have that . Actually pieces of that. I have worn the cover in half, and some of the pages are falling out, But I will not let the wife throw it out. It is the single best truck magazine I have ever bought. But I wouldn't be biased or anything, Would I? ..............JB

It is a '70 blazer (or at least it started out as one). It has been completely redone with a buttload of mods. The guy is even almost as good as you I was thinking of pulling the magazine apart to scan all of it and save on a cd. I could email you some of it but it would be a big file. Let me know Devin

woodrow59,
Even if no one has the pick, there's a guy on the board with a black truck that might even be a bit nicer, Tom Hand. He is kind enough to post pictures of the interior and exterior every now and again. You could start another thread and beg him to put some pictures of his truck on it.

That's the Air Ride blazer. Mustang II front crossmember and of course, BAGGED.

Oh yeah, very nice. Thats what I'm collecting parts for now. As soon as I finish the short fleet, I will build one that will look very close to that one. Except I won't start with a Blazer, I will start with a short fleet bed, a pick up cab, and a GMC swb frame that will have to be shortened 11 inches.
For the record I will not cut up a blazer, I will use parts picked up here and there. I sure would like to see the details on how he did that one. Thanks to anyone who can provide info on it..........eb |
