Finally getting time and money to work on restoring my top.
What is the best place to get a set of new rubber for my single wall top? Thanks!

I am just about to order new rubbers for mine also.
The LMC catalog has a great parts list of these and most everything else so start by ordering their catalog as a reference. If you look in the review board section you can see a few members who are not happy with past orders from LMC. But still-- their catalog is a great parts and price guide.

I have personally used LMC rubber and have not been happy with the quality. It tended to fit crappy and to fall apart within a few years. Be careful as some rubber is really crap. A warranty is nice to have but hold on to the receipt. Prices are all over the place---ex. the door window to top pieces on a single wall top are like $49. in LMC but $99. with other dealers. Perhaps you get what you pay for ---Perhaps!? I too need blazer rubber but have been holding off till the fall as my top is not on till then. I would tend to use regular house door rubber for tailgate and hatch but not for leading edge, window seals. The side glass rubber is often available used and tends to last forever--. good luck

I'm watching this thread too. I planning on replacing the rubber on my hard top before putting it back on this fall. I was planning on calling one of the board vendors to see what they have available.

Seriously, get in touch with Ed at Mothertruckers. He has the best brand and I believe a lifetime warrenty. It costs a little more but, stick it on and it lasts...

I just ordered $400 worth of rubber from LMC. Is it that bad? Should I call and cancel this and order from somone else?

I just spent $400 on rubber from our local Alberta Canada guy.

Let everyone know how it worked out with LMC as I was originally going to use them also.

Lmc Is Cool, But There Are Other Competitors That Sometimes Can Beat Them In Price, But I Don't Know The Quality. They Are, The Truck Shop And Chevy Duty. Should Be Able To Find Them On The Web. I Will Be Looking Into Rubber Too.

I seriously doubt there are many different manufactures. I'm sure most of the dealers are selling the same product. There were less than 80K first Gen Blazer produced. Probably less than half as many Jimmy's. Factor in how many have met their demise in one way or another, and what is left is a very small market. Not enough for multiple manufactures to make enough money to produce the product.
