A dumb headlight question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

The headlights stopped working on my Suburban and I changed the dimmer switch and cleaned the rust off the plug for it. Now only the right side headlight works in normal mode but all four lights light up when using high beams. Does this just mean I need a new headlight on the left side?

yup, probably, or you lost connection at the seal beam itself
