I was told by the guy I bought the truck from that it was in the back. Now that I have tried to put a shaft in it, I don't have one.

Anyway, looking to buy one or trade parts I have for one. I have a couple of lists out there. Off the top of my head, I would trade a power brake booster, rod and prop valve for the yolk. I am in 75454

I have a yolk and a turbo 400 thats needs rebuilt that I am not going to use. PM me if you still need one. Oh yeah would like to get $75 for tranny and yolk. Would consider trading for other parts.

I could use the booster,rod,and prop valve your offering for the yolk. I could also use a auto column and fan shroud(sm blk) if you had one. What all parts do you have you would consider in swaping?

I don't have a shroud, but I do have an auto column. I can swap you the brake parts booster, master, prop, rod and column for the tranny and yoke.

I assume you need the rod to the tranny and the pivot point at the frame...etc...all parts to shift with the column?

Yes I would need the shift linkage. I am on the west side of fort worth. I work in fort worth for UPRR. The best think I can thimk of is to meet half way I guess. I am off on Wed/Thrs. and work second shift 3 till/ midnight. So let me know what will work for you

What's wrong with the trans? Slipping all gears, won't do reverse??

I really don't know it was in a parts truck I bought a couple years ago. It came out of a 69 that had no motor. As far as I know it needs to have a complete rebuild. Could be wrong though. It does not have the converter.

It is a 71 Short step(has the spare tire fender) 250 inline six, 3 on the tree. manual brakes/steering. non air truck. It has a fresh tune-up,fuel pump, reman carb, master cycl. Winshield has some cracks in it. runs and drives I currently have it tagged just not inspected. Would be a great daily driver or resto truck. Asking 2000 obo It is listed in the trucks for sale section of the forum pics listed as well.
