VIN Location
I have owned my 1972 K20 Truck for 5 years and just now the inspection place called me to say that they can't check the truck until they can verify the Vin matches the registration. Where can i find the VIN? I no longer have a sticker on the glove box door. Thanks.
Brad

There should be a metal plate riveted in the driver's door jamb that has the VIN on it.

And a partial VIN stamped on teh frame. The drivers side forward frame rail, juts to the rear of the steering gear box on top. The same thing is also under the cab, but you can't see it onless the cab is missing.
