Love it man, I love flat black more than I love candy! I agree with Rat-At-Tach, drop it a touch more, and smaller mirrors and it is basically all I would even want in a truck!

Welcome to the best board on earth..if you are ever feeling down about your truck just log on here and start looking through threads and you will remember why you love the truck so much!

happy trucking.

Wow

That looks just like the 70 I'm working on is going to look, (hopefully) except I havn't lowered it, my bumpers are painted, and I have painted spoke wheels. I'm thinking of painting them red, or maybe even putting roll pans front and back.

Thanks, about a week ago, I was ready to give the truck away due to some problems, but after looking through all the threads, I am more pumped than ever to work on it. I also found out that I have a LOT more work to do than I originally thought. headlight relays, delay wipers, cruise control....

From a mid 90's Chevrolet C1500. What are your thoughts on it? I was thinking that a square lid might fit with the body lines better.

I run the same gas filler door on mine, I think that it looks better than a square one. BTW nice looking truck, although it might look better with a GMC grille. That comment is going to open a HUGE can of worms but that is MHO.

That tailgate was a salvage yard freebie, best one I could find for free, the original tailgate on the truck had so much rust you could literally stick you whole hand through the middle of the tailgate.

350, I have most of the parts for a 383 stroker, but need the time and/or money to get it put together and installed.
