Help with van tilt Please...
Hello, I bought a van tilt, and am in the process of installing it in my truck, but the wires are different colors from my truck, so how do I hook back up the turnsignals and stuff? My truck has the half moon style plug and the van has a blade style that is about 6 inches long. Thanks Truck is down till I get this figured out

don`t cut the wires!! there is an adapter that just plugs in and its all good to go.
check with some of the truck venders on this board, they should have them. good luck

Or just go to the GM dealer and buy one. GM P/N 1894851 IIRC, it is less than 10 bucks.

I just finished doing this. Using a pick or a connector tool, remove the wires from the van column connector, and reinstall in the original truck connector. Write down the wire colors in the order they are in the truck connector, and just reinstall the van wires in the same location. I used the original truck signal switch so as to have the factory red hazzard light switch instead of the round black one from the van.

Hey Longhornman, can you post that part number in the FAQ, I tried but it wont let me reply, maybe you can edit your post. That seems to be all that is missing from that thread. Thanks again everyone.
