Opinions please - paint & trim

The original paint is still on my truck and is almost worn through in many places. The color is actually med. red, but has faded to orange. I'm getting closer to having my truck painted, but would like opinions on which way to go. I'm leaning toward pic 3, but I also like the solid paint in pic 2. What's your preference? Thanks.

Pic 1 is my truck as is.
Pic 2 is a similar truck, but with upper trim.
Pic 3 is a similar truck with upper trim and 2 tone with white.

id say if your gana change it do the last one..but add the trim..or even do the white under the trim you have on the bottom....orange ontop white on bottom...that would look slick..

#1 if you go solid, and #3 if you do the two tone...

i'm going for pic 3 on my truck but with viper red instead of orange, plus it's a longbed. right now i have no trim, but i plan to get upper trim and lower trim from a 67-68 style

Which ever way you go, I would say for sure add the upper moulding. The spear trim makes the truck IMO. Another option that I have seen on a lot of original cheyenns is the white top only.

I am not sure who owns this truck but it looks sweet!.

I like #1, the solid color with lower only trim looks good. But you can't loose with any of them.

Since the truck has a nice stock color scheme, I vote for #1.

Kinda depends on the 'look' your going for.

All the options/variations have their own appeal.

My internet filter won't download the pics from geocities.com.
Could I get you to load them up on to the 67-72 website?

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Yeller, would be glad to, but I don't think that there is any webspace available on the board.

Your truck looks nice with the paint scheme it has now in my opinion, and I'd stick with it. I really like the stance with the drop too!

That's my C10 and it is also Medium red. People often accuse me of having an orange truck and I have to tell them its medium red.

I do not think that was one of the three choices. But you are right. (still like the two tone)

I echo someone's post from above that no matter how you paint them, each one looks good in it's own right. That said, and being a purist; my OPINION (and I stress opinion) is that whatever the paint codes are on the option list on the glovebox door is how you should repaint them. Don't get me wrong, because I do so appreciate the tremendous talent that those guys have who can design and do such great custom paint work. Jim

#3 all the way. (That goes for whether we're talking about the picture or the man, Dale Earnhardt.)
