Leafs were available on both Chev and GMC's. Chevs were considered coil standard and leaf optional and GMC's vice versa in the US. In Canada both were considered coil standard and leaf optional.

My 72 C10 is an original leaf truck. I'm not sure how many leafs it has, but LOTS!

I've seen people remove all but about 2 leafs, then mount the bags. You could also do a flip kit before you start and notch the frame, then it would go lower yet. N2TRUX has a bagged leaf 73-87 I know.
