Cheyenne Super?

What makes a Cheyenne Super? I have a 1971 Cheyenne and noticed two holes directly under the "Cheyenne10" nameplate. For the "Super" nameplate perhaps?

Does it have a Houndstooth seat cover? That would make it a super.

Thumbs up

Let me be the first one to welcome you to the board! this place rocks. Be carefull... it can be habit forming.
As for your question....
If your truck is a cab/chassis or a step side model, then just a cloth seat cover, wood grain treatment on the inst panel/glove box, and full guage package (minus tach...still an option...but no dummy light inst panles)

If your truck is a fleet side, then upper trim is added, a bright gas cap, and bright trim on/around the tailgate handle.

Thanks. I'd like to spend more time on this site, however I have little time to devote to online activities let alone restoring or maintaining my truck. Good thing it's in great condition and needs only cosmetics.

This fleetside Cheyenne has everything mentioned except for: Bench seat is reupholstered in velour, interior has been repainted so no woodgrain on dash, ashtray or glovebox, also dash bezel is black w/chrome edges.

Thanks you all for your input.

Welcome.Has the truck been painted? Are the belt mouldings or door panels woodgrain? Can you tell if the fenders were replaced if it has been painted? What I`m getting at is it could be a CustomDeluxe.Alot of people like to put Cheyenne emblems on trucks when they fixing them up.
