Cool HEI with an ECM, 1984

Another inquiry on these...I have been told that GM possibly made these with the weights to build in a curve on ECM HEI's? He said it was only for one year or possibly 2 years only, and may be in Camaros or something like that!
Anybody have any knowledge about this, and if so, where could I find one if it was manufactured?
Thanx!

It doesent matter which weights you try to use the curve means nothing if the ECM is adjusting the advance. The only perf mod you can do is a spring kit to allow advance quicker. Sorry but you heard a load of

You know, I felt that way when he told me, and now you reaffirm what I felt again by your input here.
I need to inquire thru California Referees to decide what is allowed....although I can drop in a non-ECM HEI and disconnect the system but ecm stuff is not my specialty!
Thanx!!!
