axle shaft interchange

Does anyone know what years of axle shafts , for the Eaton style 3/4 ton rearends, will fit the 67-72 trucks. ?? Also are the shafts interchangable throughout the 67-72 series.??????

They should interchange from 1960-1972.

They are all the same spline count... you need some I have a pair I'll sell cheap.

This may confuse more than help, but per the parts manual:

60-72 Series 30 (except 11,000 lb axle),
60-70 Series 20 (except Dana axle, D-D),
68-70 D-D,
71-72 Series 20 (except 11,000 lb axle)

P/N 3759849 L.H. (stamped T49)
P/N 3759850 R.H. (stamped T50)

65-70 Ser. 20 with leaf type spring,
71-72 All w/Dana Axle

P/N 2403694 LH & RH (30 splines - 35 1/8" O.L.) (Dana 31494-1)
