Mounting fuse box and drop rail sealer
Hey, not having any luck with the search function. I have shaved my firewall and am getting ready to install an ez wiring fuse box. Any pics, ideas, etc on making a clean install such as mounting on an aluminum back plane, etc. Any pictures would be appreciated. Also what product do you use to seal a drip rail after it has been stripped and primed. Thanks, Danny

Re: Mounting fuse box and drop rail sealer
funny you should ask!! just finished this mount on my hotrod project//i just bent up a piece of steel and will spot weld it to the inside of the firewall//
if you plan on welding on the weekend it's always a GOOD IDEA to check that you have an adequate supply of shielding gas on friday// the welding supply might be closed on saturday

Use the self leveling 3M 8307 self leveling seam sealer.

Re: Mounting fuse box and drop rail sealer
here is how i mounted my stock fues box. I should have made it a bolt on bracket cause I cant tighten the bolt that holds the outside harnedd to the box. I have driven it 3000 miles now and still no problems thought.
