What did you get done?

One more week rolls buy and I didn't do much truck related. I did hear from my buddy Keith (n2billet) and he said the exhaust was being put on my 77. It may be ready to fire up soon.

Beyond that I worked in my yard, rebuilt the faucet in my kitchen sink, and did a little landscaping around my pool. What did you get done?

Re: What did you get done?

Nothing much truck related, just hosed off some of the dust and shined the tires a little, I installed some sidemarker lamps on a friends civic. I finally went fishing again, haven't been for awhile, caught a nice 6lb big mouth and some other smaller 1-2 pounders.
Other than that yard work of course with all the leaves and family.

Re: What did you get done?

Got the bedfloor stripped of all it's paint and most of it's primer. Now I can prep it and do the bodywork and re-primer it.

started the filler work on one of my widend inner fenders...

spent 6 hours installing a CD player in my wagon. (I'm too anal about how stuff is done...)

Non car related: Went to a haunted house with the fiance, attended a meeting about getting into Fall semester nursing program, and studied for some tests next week.

Re: What did you get done?

Did a heater box install on the beater, along with a throttle position sensor. Man, GM was NOT thinking when they designed that car. It took me an entire day to do the heater box alone!

The fuel pump in the 89 blew the little hose that connects it to the sending unit off, I thought the pump was dead, so I pulled it all apart, and wound up busting my sending unit, so I get to try and fix that tommorow.
Hopefully I can get rid of that truck soon, lol

Re: What did you get done?

My 90 Blazer runs, and runs pretty well actually. After a lot of rewiring, it might actually make a decent driver, except for the stupid body lift. It seems to be rusted in place. I spent today cleaning up the truck. I am pretty impressed with it.

Re: What did you get done?

I'm still in China. I spent most of Friday evening and Saturday morning on the porcelin throne ... ... not a pretty picture, I know. Felt much better after lunch, so we went out for a little shopping. That night we went down to the hotel bar for dinner and listened to the Phillipinno band. Ended up closing the place down at 2:00am. Sunday we made our way from Shenzhen to Zhuhai by ferry. I just have to make it thru 3 more days and I'll be on my way home!

Re: What did you get done?

I began taking off a/c and alternator brackets and cleaning and painting them. Wish me luck on the reassembly of the brackets and bolts when it all goes back together. It really feels like an accomplishment just to clean and repaint those few parts.

Re: What did you get done?

My brother blew his tranny (again) mud bogging his Jeep. He asked me to tow him to the transmisson shop. We had a bit of an accident resulting in the end of Jebb's rear bumper. Everything else seems intact. I guess I'll just have to run it without a rear bumper for a while. The bumper isn't bad just bent. I spent the day taking the bumper off

Re: What did you get done?

Flying to Lubbock on Thurday. I will be driving my truck back to Austin on Monday. I have not driven my truck since August!!! I plan on doing a burnout as soon as I get in it.
Hopefully I can keep my foot out of it. Speeding ticket suck.
