Today was an incredibly good day
Today I found a short bed fleetside bed in perfect shape. I mean no rot, one small ding...
Not to mention this guy has 3-4 tons (literally) of very rot free sheet metal that he's been storing in his barns for more than 20 years. Like 8 trucks worth of parts laying around. Rot free, uncut doors. Perfect tailgates, with or without trim. I bought it all. I think my shortbed C10 project just hit the fast track. |

WOW!
Talk about the proverbial barn cache! The tailgates sound like a particularly impressive find. Congrats.

Re: Today was an incredibly good day
I drove by this guy's barn, after looking at another bed that was junk. He had one truck out on his yard with a for sale sign on it. I stopped to chit chat.
He showed me what he had and I broke out my check book. I am not sure yet what I will let go of! |

Great score. If you have any completely rust free 67 stepside rear fenders, let me know.

Re: Today was an incredibly good day
Could ya take pics BEFORE you start crating it off? Would like to see the parts in the original barn. And yes, I will take the pic to the bathroom. Is that so wrong?
