Black '69 factory buckets & console worth???

Ive been maybe thinking about taking out the buckets & console & installing a bench in the 69. I was just wondering what a factory 1969 set of buckets & console in black should bring. They are in decent shape. The console is nice but the chrome trim @ the ashtray is gone. I had it out of the truck when I took this pic. I can take more tomorrow. I dont exactly want to sell them, but if I ever do I dont want to get taken on them either. Thanks in advance...corn

I have seen them go anywhere from 150-500 depending on condition.

Re: Black '69 factory buckets & console worth???

I saw a blue set of '72 truck buckets and console sell for $800 on eBay about a year ago. The upholstery was in about the same condition as yours.

I bought a pair of totally trashed bucket seats out of a '71 Blazer that I plan to put in my truck. This is what it's going to end up costing me by the time I'm done:

Trashed seats with good frames from a wrecking yard = $40
Truck driver side mounting tracks from Ebay = $50
Black console from a wrecking yard = $40
Replacement foam for two seats = $400
Replacement vinyl upholstery = $230
Reproduction truck passenger seat brackets = $115

You add it all up and it comes out to $875 plus a lot of time tracking it all down. Your seats need new upholstery, so subtract the cost of the upholstery from $875 and it comes to $645. Convenience has value though, and buying the entire set from one place is definitely more convenient.

Re: Black '69 factory buckets & console worth???

I looked at 3 sets recently on ebay: $500 BIN w/o console, $625 set w/ console, and 1 set that went for $225 w/o console, but I'm pretty sure they were Blazer seats. The $500 set needed to be recovered, the $625 looked pretty nice, and the $225 needed recovering. Do a search on ebay and then check completed items to get an idea. Hope this helps, Al

Don`t forget to subtract labor from PJ`s price.I think they are worth $350-500.It would help if you got the missing console pieces.

Re: Black '69 factory buckets & console worth???

I bought ripped up trashed seats and console needing resto for 375. I would think you should get 500-600.

Ive now have over 800 into mine.

I do have the chrome trim that goes around the ashtray but its rusty so I took it off. Looks better with it off than those ugly pits. Thank you for the response...
