Re: What did you get done?

Put a new Turbo 6.5L diesel into a ratty old ¾ ton 4x4 Suburban. It will be a cool rig when it is done…I promise. It will be something like the Dante’s Peak Suburban but much better when it is done. Fresh satin black paint yet to come, safari rack and maybe even a snorkel for the fun of it. A buddy and I are building this Sub for a friend in Michigan.

Re: What did you get done?

I put a new back & front glass & seals in my sons '83. The back glass wasn't much of a problem, the windshield took 2 hours. It was pretty chilly and I had a heck of a time with the new seal being cold. After I finally got the glass in my wife asked why I didn't just put the seal in the dryer for a few minutes to heat it up. Changed the oil & filter also, since we have 500 miles on it after the rebuild.

Re: What did you get done?

Nothing truck related. Went with the wife and one of my daughters to get some things they need for one of my other daughters wedding next month. Worked in my fish pond, also on my landscaping. With my last daughter to get married I now will be broke for awhile.$$$ But she is the last one. All three will be married and to good men. But all three are worth a nice big wedding.
