What I got done this weekend.
Went to a swap show today, bought a rug and some stainless bolts. Came home and ripped apart a 68 K20. Also started shaving my firewall. It will be totally smooth. Got the sway bar in, PS box rebuilt, new ball joints installed with new tie rod ends. Last edited by FormerMember; 10-04-2007 at 06:33 PM. |

Re: Wigdtw
Looks great. Can't wait to get started on mine. Is that a magnet on your firewall? I thought about that magnet trick instead of those eastwood butt welding clamps. Do the magnets work pretty good?

Yes, that's a magnet. Works the best that I know of. On some of the small stuff, it was perfect, as I used the magnet from the inside to space the metal.

Re: Wigdtw
What do you guys think I should do for the seams left over?
I was thinking lead. Might be a bit much to break out the mig and grind all over. |
