Question 3/4 ton rear leaf interchange inquiry

On 67-72's, will the 73 and up 3/4 ton leaf springs fit and work ?
One side of my 72 was broken, and I was wondering if I can use later model springs?
Thoughts....

C series 67-72 are 2 1/4" 73-up 2 1/2". You should be able to get a replacement from someone that is parting one out.

please advise where you came up with the 2 1/4 on 67 to 72 . I have all spring companies telling me my 70 takes 2 1/2 wide and they will not fit. also they tell me axle alignment bolt is in center (26 in. on a 52 eye to eye spring) where mine are 24 from front and 28 from rear

Re: 3/4 ton rear leaf interchange inquiry

I put a new spring pack in my c30 longhorn, New installed from stanley springs cost about $200 labor included. A good spring shop should be able to get you a set matched if the old spring pack is still in 1 piece. Mine broke in 3 pieces but they just measured the other side and had it in stock. Stanley springs is a division of dayton parts. http://www.daytonparts.com/state_ca.asp?Zip=92
