how to fix mirror?

The driver's side mirror on my '89 suburban is "blowing" toward the truck when I drive. It won't stay out as far as it should. Does anybody know how I can fix this??

Re: how to fix mirror?

Just out of curiosity have removed the outside cover and tightened the bracket that holds the arm in place? If you have you could allways buy a cheap aftermarket replacement at autozone etc. or buy a cheap bycycle inner tube and cut off some material to add to whats there to increase your clamp load....
