blower motor resistor

hi all,,got a question for all the great minds out there..I have a 1976 k-10 i been putting back together and the blower motor speed control (resistor) that is mounted on the blower motor housing under hood is shot.THE prongs where the wiring harness plugs in are rusted off and i am having a hard time finding one..MY question is does anyone happen to know what years had the same one,or one that would work?? thanks all....

I think find any GM full size that year or early 80's, all the same. Make sure you get one without air if your truck has no air, visa versa

morepower,,thanks for the reply,,,haven't been to j-yard yet but the fine people at autozone here is telling me it has to be 76 specifac which i know is b-s....it's just a plain ole blower motor housing,,,(non ac)...that's why i was checking before diggin thru j-yard...it's 4 degrees here with wind,,lol

At the top left of this page underneath (Search by) Item description in the box -type: blower motor resistor and to the right of that select year and pick 1976 and hit Search. It will then give you a list of them online if you order online but if you are not for sure you can double check with them by phone.
