Does anyone know where I could find those engine number charts with things like HP, torque, compression ratio, etc...

I'm trying to see how similar the engine that would have come in the truck was to the F-body engine in it now.

You can look on www.nastyz28.com for GM numbers.

The differences in a C-series versus an F-body are going to be the complete valvtrain, heads, intake, and pistons.

I think I should have been more clear. You did answer me fully, but I was acutally wondering about a place that shows the engine information for the trucks, not Camaros. I already know that.

If you are looking for cam profiles and such, I don't know of any site listing these. I am looking for them though. As for blocks, cranks and heads, they will be listed on NastyZ28.com, as a SBC is just a SBC. bigblock73's site info came from NastyZ28.com from back when Swervin had it. Unless he is has something I haven't found yet...

SBC is not just a SBC! I currently own a 1970 400 SB, a 1971 400 SB, and a 1980 400 SB. None of these motors ever factory equiped in Camaro!

You are missing my point... Up to the introdution of the GEN II SBC, a 350 block that is in a camaro is the same as one in a pickup- 4" bore x 3.48" stroke, a 400 in a pickup is the same as one in station wagon- 4.125" bore x 3.75" stroke. What makes the power levels/application different is the components attached/installed. Having a 350 with a Casting number that references 370hp, doesn't mean that by having that block you automatically have 370hp.

Casting number only mean something to those looking for matching numbers. Any SBC can be built to the same power level as any other SBC.
