can anyone recommend replacement regulators by manufacturer, or are my originals rebuildable?

It can be done, but new ones are cheap. I paid $70 for a set from ****************. Jeff.

Re: window regulator help

L.M. - Lost my job (at MCI/WorldCon) and had to put the project on hold as well as my internet connection. Started driving her a little and found some new issues.
Jeff you remember who the manufacturer of those regulators was and are you happy with the quality?

krue thanks for the links, rebuilt the door insides once already with the old regulators, new felts etc. just need some input on quality replacement parts to shop the vendors or a good rebuild source.

Re: window regulator help

Thor, I don't know who made them, but I am very happy with them. The windows roll up and down nice and easy and thats with new rubber all the way around. Jeff.

Re: window regulator help

I bought a drivers side from Brothers trucks at the Pamona swap meet last week and they were GM for $25.00. that may have been a show special but it was GM.

Re: window regulator help

I got one from ECE and it was worse than than the one I took out. I ended up taking it back and just rebuilt my old one, it works great now. My advice is stick with GM parts.
