who has repaced rear seal on K10 ? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

anyone had to replace rear main seal on a 73-80 4x4 K10 truck ?(4 speed manual)

is there enough room to get pan down and out without jacking up a side of the engine ?

not sure about the 73 to 80 but i just changed mine on the 86 burb and it slid right out,but then again i do have a 6 inch lift.........James....p.s. i am also going to be listing it for sale for $1500.00 on this board as soon as i get some pics
