If you're the shortest.....
of a group of truck folks, you get to crawl in and look for the block numbers
Gman69 (George) and a friend came down to pick up the 6 from my 70. Goerge volunteered to crawl in and see if he could find the block numbers off the 350 in my 69. Friends, gotta love them. BTW, we didn't see it, so it waits till it comes out I guess. Looks like I have a bad rod, so I'll be rebuilding or replacing the engine. Visit was way to short. Thanks George.

Re: If you're the shortest.....
Great idea, Matthuffham, and that's what he's got to do. I could ALMOST see the casting # but not quite.
krue, I actually thought about calling you, but not sure if you were at work, out cutting more firewood, or catching up on some Zzzz's or whatever. Sorry, won't let it happen again.

Re: If you're the shortest.....
That sucks about your truck, did you know it was bad when you bought it? I was able to read my block numbers fairly easy, is your engine in the I-6 or V-8 position. You'll get 'er rollin again soon

Re: If you're the shortest.....
I was at work, but I didn't really want to be there.

You never axed me for a mirror. I have one of those on a stick thing. 67Chevyredneck....it is mounted using the newer style mounts, so I think its close to normal V8, but I don't know for sure. I'll be checking it out real soon.
